Report: Min: COVID-19 vaccination in Russia to cost 75–100 bln rbl

MOSCOW, Dec 30 (PRIME) – Mass vaccination against the coronavirus will cost the Russian budget 75–100 billion rubles, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov told channel Rossiya 24 on Wednesday.

"We have new goals set for the next year, not included in the budget, in particular, vaccination of the population. This requires a significant resource: from 75 to 100 billion rubles. Everything depends on how it develops, how many people will express the desire to be vaccinated," Siluanov said.

He added that the government will pay for all vaccines.
